Stacy: Happy to report that Tripp has had a great day. He hasnt thrown up at all. What a difference one day can make. We or I should say I havent given him any pain medicine today. He has stiffened up once or twice to show pain but I either held him or changed his position. Well I am having a rough time, more about that later, so I decided to go to Zumba, hadnt been in over a month, to dance off some stress. I leave Tripp with Bill. Everyone knows men are the softies. First sign of pain, Bill gives him pain meds. He doesnt want his baby to hurt. A Well Tripp and I have had a good day together. I put him in his wheelchair and we went outside but I think it was too hot for him, he turned all blotchy. So we came back in and read some books. Then I rolled him around the house. I took him in his room and showed him all his toys, his eyes got big and he smiled. I forget that he is carried everywhere and probably doesnt get to look around much. After I saw that reaction, I took him in every room in the house and explained what every thing was. I think he enjoyed it. Sometimes I have so much hope for him and then sometimes I feel like we are going backwards. Later in the day I couldnt get any response out of him. And his eyes seem to be getting worse. They go in different directions and wont focus. That breaks my heart. I made an eye appt for him. I dont want to miss something that can be fixed. Then he will do something to impress me again and be completely focused. Such a roller coaster. My emotions have been riding their own roller coaster lately but honestly I am too tired to get into it right now. I just wanted everyone to know that Tripp is doing good. And please keep my friends, Kaete from Ride to Give and my childhood best friend, Heather in your thoughts tonight, both lost their grandpa today. Very sad.
