Staff Picks - I am currently co-teaching a class at Elmira College with Dr. Charlie Mitchell called “Doing Public History.” The 11 students in our class are doing just that: they are researching in our archives and collections to ultimately create an online exhibit on Gilded Age Elmira. Here these museum professionals in training are hard at work looking at photographs, documents, and other materials on topics ranging from Eldridge Park to local involvement in the Spanish American War.
