Staffing Requirement Labor Category: Intelligence Specialist, Subject Matter Expert-CENTCOM, Level III Position Number: SSTI-A-001-75 Number of Positions: 4 Program/Project: O - 001 Location: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX Hiring Manager: Stockley Task Description/Responsibilities: The Intelligence Specialist CENTCOM Subject Matter Expert, Level III shall provide the expertise to thoroughly research, study, and present information in an effective manner and in accordance with accepted practices. Assist management in accordance with established directives, policy, procedures, and guidelines and ensure required actions are accomplished in a timely manner to provide the best possible coverage of command needs in the assigned area. Provide the expertise to establish and maintain direct liaison, and coordinate with intelligence community, tactical, and other organizations to ensure intelligence collection and production requirements are satisfactorily processed and satisfied. Provide timely and sound advice and recommendations on working groups with functional or multi-disciplinary emphasis that involve collection requirement issues and at conferences and briefings involving program areas of responsibility Serve as liaison and coordinate with other defense and intelligence components as required to fulfill collection needs. Assist with the development, review, validation and substantiation of current and long-range programs to support AF ISR worldwide mission objectives Assist in the development of comprehensive guidance and/or policy concerning force management issues. Assist in the development of Air Force, DoD and National Intelligence Community human capital policy and implementation instructions, conduct in-depth analysis, and develop associated recommendations. Minimum Qualifications: Education: B.S or BA degree in a related intelligence or technical field, or equivalent experience in an intelligence career field may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Experience: Qualified Candidates shall possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in military intelligence, ranging from the tactical to strategic level in single service and also a joint/multi-national intelligence operations staff environment. Must have knowledge of military intelligence subjects such as intelligence preparation of the battle space, collection management, indications and warnings, intelligence reporting and planning intelligence operations. Must have experience in providing unit support at the operational/joint environment and MAJCOM levels. Additional Requirements: o Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills o Must be a US Citizen Security Clearance: Must Possess a Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance. May also require a Full Scope/Life Style Poly.
