Stage Band Musicians Needed: As with all organizations, especially those comprised of volunteers, people come and people go. Different priorities arise, transfers are assigned, interests change, etc. Any help that you are able to provide in recruiting or advertising these needs will be sincerely appreciated. Our present needs are as follows: Keyboardist - must be able to read both written piano music and chords since arrangers today seem to feel that anyone who plays this instrument has the ability to read and play from chords as do guitarists. Guitarist - This is mostly a rhythm guitar part. Every once in a while there is written a guitar solo but not very often. Trumpet - The 4th trumpet position is presently open. We practice at 7 P.M. on Monday evenings in the Music Room under the Southdown Stadium on St. Charles St..
