Stand On Your Faith With my approaching birthday and the fact - TopicsExpress

Stand On Your Faith With my approaching birthday and the fact that I will be 65 and after receiving my Medicare Card, I have realized that I am now retired. As much as I love to pastor and to counsel, I realize that my ministry will be writing and encouraging those that the Lord will send my way. I want to finish my novel that I started 25 years ago. My ambition of starting another work is just a mind set. Lynda and I have had a fruitful ministry of 35 years and much of what the Lord has done through us is still fruitful around the world. We have nothing to be ashamed of and we are now looking to being with our Lord one day. I will concentrate on my writings and my painting. I will be working on a Biblical painting that T gave me, of a picture of Jesus looking after some sheep. I want to spend more time with my family. I told my brother Bob that I would make him some deck chairs out of cedar and invited him to come and stay with Lynda and Me, and help in the building of his chairs. Bob only lives in Richmond Hill, GA, right outside of Savannah, which is just 2 hours away from Jacksonville. As I said earlier, if I have ever offended anyone, I ask for their forgiveness as I have forgiven all those that I felt done me wrong. I know that I am not perfect, but when I stand before the Lord, I want to have made things right according to the Lord’s dictates. I guess you can say that I am getting my house in order. After all, isn’t that what we should all do! During our family reunion I realized that family is everything. Many in our family made an agreement to encourage one another to take care of our physical body and to encourage one another. My niece Michelle DeLuca and my nephew Chase and my son David found two baby turtles struggling to get in the water at the beach during our reunion. Seagulls were after them trying to kill them, but these loving people saved them from destruction, and took them into the water to swim away. I learned a great lesson from this! I could have been one of those struggling turtles. Yes, I want my friends and family to reach out to me and help me when Satan wants to destroy me. I also want to reach out to my family and friends as well.
