#StarWarsBook Update #2: Sorry to say, that the book has arrived in such bad condition, that it could never survive another round of mailings. Please check the photos. As you can see, something was spilled on the book and whatever this liquid was it is slowly disintegrating the paper. The spine has been broken, the glue is giving way and the pages are starting to fall out. So Im afraid to say the book has stopped here, and can go no further for fear of total disintegration. The GOOD NEWS is we have a sister book that is in pristine condition. So we will gently remove the signature pages of all those who signed in good faith from this book, hermetically seal them so they will be preserved so no additional damage can occur and then add them to the NEW book and will bring it to Celebration VII in Anaheim for everyone to sign. Please understand, two years ago we mailed out a book that was supposed to go around the world in less than a year. Instead, it has been stalled out by a few who hung onto it for months at a time and one individual who kept it for almost a full year. It took us a long time and considerable effort but with the help of two Star Wars fans in Ireland - who werent even on the original list - Damien Slattery and John Daly went above and beyond to personally make sure the book was returned to us with all the items added by everyone along the way. So while this has come to a close, we look forward to seeing you all at CVII with the new book. I hope you understand and May the Force Be With You All! :)
