Starry Eyes - This film struck me as a wish fulfillment exercise written for and/or by actors looking for their big break into stardom. It wasnt a terrible film, but, it was a hint stiff and dehydrated, a little slow, all the characters seemed quite generic forgettable, and interchangeable, and if there was zero dialogue as opposed to the light scattering of dialogue, zero dialogue may have actually been better in providing an artistic impact. Its a low budget film with what appears to be relatively unknown actors and associated other film positions, so, whats to expect? I could have been horrible, and its not. Compared to Troma, Asylum films, and many made-for-tv, or direct-to-video features this rates a couple stars above those. IMDb has it rated at 6.1, and Ill support that ranking as accurate across the board.
