Based on some of your suggestions we got an achievement test from Seton. We ordered the TerraNova full battery for 1st grade. The first two sections were reading comprehension, so my son wasnt too excited about that, but he breezed through the other sections and even asked me if I was sure this test wasnt for Kindergarten. So, I think he did very well and am looking forward to the results, and proof enough, for my husband anyway and his family, that my son is able to perform at or above grade level with his peers. Whatever that means... Thank you again! I love this forum, you all give me hope that I can get through this well.
