Started to sculpt the centerpiece to the Nostromo sleep chamber, bringing all seven separate chambers together. ALIEN 1979 - 1:18 scale. I considered creating the center station entirely out of sheet styrene but decided a combination of clay, cast and styrene will work best. First step will be to sculpt the body of the centerpiece...minimal detail at best. Second will be to mold and cast the finished sculpt, cast and refine shape. Next Ill add detail with sheet styrene and other greeblie work needed and finally mold and cast the finished piece, bring the pods back together and mend gaps using epoxy making the connections seamless. #alien #sleepchamber #nostromo #sith_fire30
