Starting this year I will put $500.00 in a safe place for a scholarship fund that will be started. One of my students could receive this when they graduate from H.S. and choose to study music as a major or minor in college. My plan is to do this each year so if several years pass before one of my students qualify then this amount will build up. I will do this in lieu of awarding prize monies at the recital although there will still be a cash award to the student with the best attendance of lessons. There will also be a cash award to the student who has improved the most since last recital. Whether youre a choir director at a mega church, a singer - songwriter or perform occasionally at a nursing home - you and music can make a difference. Dream big and support the arts, lets make a difference!
