Starting to tentatively look at getting another dog. I recently lost my best friend to a stroke, and I am really wanting a blue heeler I AM OPEN TO OTHER BREEDS but i would like a cattle dog type (aussie, heeler, etc). I live on a large farm, with lots of room to run. I do not want a dog that needs to be kenneled to keep from running off. I understand it will take time for the dog to get used to its surroundings and feel comfortable, but i dont want a migrating dog. We have lots of young children around, as well as older people. Being a good people dog is a MUST! I also have cats and a horse, so it needs to be good with other animals as well. I will require the name of your vet as well as a precaution. If you think you have a younger dog that fits this description or a puppy that can be trained to be so, please let me know. I DO NOT HAVE A BUNCH OF MONEY TO DROP ON THE PURCHASE OF THE DOG. IT WILL INSTEAD BE SPENT ON THINGS SUCH AS FOOD, VET, ETC.
