Starting tomorrow night, there will be a race on Del Mar. The race is 3 & 1/2 full laps, starting at the entrance gate and finishing at the top of the hill. $5 race fee (cash only) and the winner takes all the purse. For starters, I was thinking about just one race, but I think breaking it out into 2 would be more attractive, open and intermediate. I would like to just get a little feedback from everyone as time progresses. This series is a FUN series and is in NO WAY connected to or affiliated with any race team. All is welcome to join..granted you’re member of the Laredo Cycling Association (which grants you access to Del Mar). Race starts sharply at 6:15 PM tomorrow. Everyone is expected not to cut course and do the turn around marked on the course. NOT a rain or shine event. Tomorrow calls for rain so, if raining we will continue next week.
