State House say Sata in London State House has finally conjured some loose itinerary for President Michael Sata after the earlier statement that sought to conceal his destination backfired. President Sata’s spokesperson George Chellah had put up a statement that the Head of State was going on a working visit raising dust as it had emerged that he was on his way to seek medical attention secretly. Given the secretive nature President Sata’s health has been handled there has been a lot of speculation and hiding his itinerary did not help State House’s cause. Below is the full statement. STATE HOUSE LUSAKA THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA Media Statement For Immediate Release PRESIDENT SATA ARRIVES IN LONDON LONDON, Sunday, February 2, 2014 – His Excellency, Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata, President of the Republic of Zambia, has arrived in London, United Kingdom for his working holiday. Zambia’s High Commissioner to London, His Excellency, Mr. Paul Lumbi and the local diplomatic staff received the Head of State at London Heathrow Airport last evening. The Head of State, who is accompanied by First Lady Dr Christine Kaseba left Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for aworking holiday in the UK after the official closing of the 22nd Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government Summit on Friday evening. Whilst in Ethiopia, President Sata held successful meetings of mutual interest and benefit to the country with various international groups and agencies as well as Heads of State and Government in and around the continent. The President is expected back home after his working holiday.
