Over the years from 1981 to 1983 the work-load in terms of correspondence, both incoming and outgoing, has gone up from 4,255 to 9472, indicating a growth rate of 125%. Again as regards production of Para-medies it has produced over the years from 1979 to 1982 as many as 2,297 Medical Assistants, 286 Compounders, 151 Dressers, 191 Laboratory Technicians, 142 Sanitary Inspectors, 35 Dentistry Technicians, 58 Radiographer and 26,834 Palli Chikitshaks, etc. Secretary: 1.To act as the administrative head and is responsible for overall administration of theofficer. 2.To be responsible for the administration and execution of the functions of the office as per rules and regulations laid down by the Governing Body of the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh and the directives issued by the Government from to time. 3.To be responsible for proper functioning and discipline and welfare of the staff. 4.To be responsilble for appointing III and IV employees of the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh 5.To grant all kinds of leave to the officers and the Staff of the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh. 6.To ensure revenue collection. 7.To allocate duties to the officers and staff ofthe State Medical Faculty as and when required. 8.To convene all the meetings of the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh. 9.To take part in the moderation of question papers and supervise the printing and packing of the same. 10. To check and counter sign the mark-sheets received from the different examination centres under control of this Faculty. 11.To check the tabulated results of the various examinations for submission to the Board of Studies for approval 12.To check and publish the results of all the examinations. 13.To sign the Diploma and pass certificates jointly with the President 14.To examine all bills for payment and to check the cash books maintained by the accountant as to wheather the accounts fairly represent the actual income and expenditures of this Faculty. 15.To operate all banking and postal transactions jointly with the Vice-President. Assistant Secretary: 1.To assist the Secretary in execution and proper discharge of all administrative functions. 2.To supervise the works of the office staff. 3.To check all works in connection ith accounts. 4.To assist the Secretary in all examination works. 5.To do all confidential works in connection with the examinations. 6.To check all kinds of Diplomas and pass certificates before submission to the Secretary for signature. 7.To prepare papers in connection with all meetings including the drafting of the minutes. 8.To open all DAK meant for the Secretary andto prepare draft of all correspondences. Administrative Officer: 1.To act as staff officer to the Secretary. 2.To maintain the attendence register and leave register of the employees of the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh. 3.To supervise the maintenance of the stores. 4.To distribute various works amongst the staff and supervise their work. 5.To check the examination forms. 6.To maintain vehicle. 7.To be responsible for proper functioning and discipline of the office staff.
