State of Emergency declared starting 11:00pm January 26, 2015 Posted: January 26, 2015 Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein has declared a Countywide State of Emergency effective 11:00pm EST Monday January 26, 2015 until further notice. This declaration is in support of Governor Cuomos travel ban. County Executive Mike Hein is banning travel on all roadways in Ulster County, the only exception is emergency vehicles. Additionally all County offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday January 27, 2015 for all nonessential personnel.
