State police stopped me for speeding. They also conducted roadside DOT inspection of my truck. Found equipment violations bad enough to declare it "out of service". Had to have it towed to garage. Repairs will cost 4 figures. Associated fines are $212. Will have to go to court after pleading NOT GUILTY to speeding, on a technicality. Will get 3 point on my license if I lose the case. Most stressful part of my day? The windshield wipers on my substitute truck would randomly turn themselves on/off. ...and I kinda like it that way. ;-)
