Statement From Larry Lauterbach. I enjoyed running in the Republican primary this year and getting to further know both of my Republican opponents. I am a committed Republican and support our Republican nominee, Robert Buckey. I ran on a platform of job creation, sound financial management, cutting taxes and removing the beach tax on our families and I do not support the MOU for the YMCA. Government should not be in the business of funding private business with tax dollars. Buckeys positions on these issues reflect my views and I support him for election in November. Queen Anne’s County is my home and I care about our future. This is the reason why I ran and is now the reason I support our Republican nominee Robert Buckey.
