Statement in support of the candidacy of Mr. Robert A. Sirleaf for senator of montserrado county. By Joe Wiah - Youth Leader 0770398732 It is obvious that the gallant move of comrade T. Maxwell Grigsby has finally ignited the burning fire within many astute young comrades to express their political ideology without fear or favor. It is against this back drop, that I hail comrade Grigsby for articulating his views about the body politics of our beloved montserrado county and providing facts indicating the dismal performances of lawmakers that were elected to represent constituents and not themselves. Victory in elections arrive by selling your candidates manifestos to accumulate votes and not by castigating rivals, making empty assertions and preaching transfer aggression amongst others. After perusing the various candidates and dissecting their platforms and portfolios, Im convinced that Mr. Robert A. Sirleaf is the most preferred candidate to steer the affairs of our county in the senate. Let me state unequivocally and unambiguously that the same reason which prompted me to vote two CDC senators in successive elections, are the same reasons that are prompting me to support Mr. Robert A. Sirleaf. If it was prudent then to vote CDC candidates into the senate, it is democratically prudent now to vote them out due to underperformance and ineptitude. The battle line is drawn; we are prepared to fight intellectually for a just cause until the victory is won. He, who has calories to fight, let him fight!
