Turns out she broke her foot in 2 places and will probably have to have a cast put on Monday when she sees an Ortho doctor. ( Can we say be careful what you say because Karma BITES you in the butt?) Its going to be a long summer and I hate it for her so pray it isnt broken too bad and the Ortho doctor doesnt make her keep the cast on too long. Then both knees were operated on to release the tightness in his legs, they were cast with holes drilled into the casts to have active therapy done 3xs a week at childrens .He has to be in extreme pain. He had a very serious surgery and has had complications and is healing slower than expected. Please pray for Jeff Edwards, Jeffrey and Mary Edwards son who was in a one car accident and suffered many fractures to the neck and face as well as a brain injury. The next 72 hours are crucial. He is being kept sedated. He is still very uncomfortable and was throwing up this morning. He had surgery this afternoon to have his new shunt placed. Hopefully that will relieve some of his headaches. The doctors removed her knee cap and sent her home in a wheelchair for about two months or so then they will have to do another surgery to replace the knee cap. They were in Tennessee visiting their Mom and she became unresponsive and taken to the hospital. I believe they were going to air lift her to UK in Lexington. They moved her from TN to UK hospital.They have brought her home but she requires 24 hour care. She has to get to a certain point before they will put her on the donor list for a liver. Bill is in St E Ft Thomas .He was moved there for long term care. Prayers needed for Connie Rice, she fell ,broke both bones in ankle and had surgery. Cant put any weight on it for any reason for 2 weeks when hopefully they can finish the procedure started today with surgery. Ankle is skinned up & must heal! She is at Villa Springs.2nd surgery is tomorrow to put plate and screws in other side of ankle. This was the course decided on by 2 doctors.2nd surgery over and she is back at Villa Springs was welcomed back with applause! Now in a boot, but cannot put ANY weight on the foot for 3 weeks. Pray for Rebekah Bradshaw Gregory, who was a spectator at the Boston Marathon,.She still has a long way to go including possible amputation. Her Ortho doctor wants to try one more BIG surgery to try and save the leg and foot before having to amputate and even though she was prepared to set the date to amputate Rebekah has agreed to the one more BIG surgery.Pray that this decision gives the surgeons the one chance they need to save the leg and foot. Please pray for Christine that God will lead her to His pathway for her.Pray that she can get things squared away and get back home for Wyatts sake Pray for Gene Rowland. He is a patient at Grant Manor and is getting weaker daily. Pray for Rexs sister, Grace Ann who broke her neck and is in a tremendous pain. Her husband explained that there is infection in her brain and has been for quite a while. She has had limited improvement from antibiotic therapy,she has had 2 strokes and is very malnourished. They will be doing frequent MRIs to monitor her and if there continues to be no improvement,they will be stopping treatment. He didnt give a time frame for this.Please pray for the entire family. JUST A THOUGHT: Then the king was exceedingly glad, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. Daniel 6:23 ESV They took Daniel to the edge of the lion’s den and let him see all of the half-starved lions prowling below them. The stench drifting upwards was horrible. I am sure the soldiers stood back a little ways as they pushed him to the edge of the pit. Then with a shove Daniel was falling through the air, right into the hungry mouths below. On the way down he could hardly believe that after serving God and the kings uncompromisingly for over eighty years he was now being fed to the lions. What a retirement plan this was… Then they sealed the pit with a stone and it became dark with the sound of panting hungry lions pacing the floor. After a long dark stress filled night the dawn finally came and Daniel was unharmed. He was taken out of the pit, and his enemies were thrown in and devoured. Tomorrow will be a better day. The dawn will come and no matter how bad it looks at night you will come through it unscathed. Just continue to trust in God just as Daniel did. God will deliver you from the half-starved lions.
