Status Update By Suzanne Gibbons from the Animal Heaven Animal Rescue Facebook page. Firstly, I have asked my team if I could write this myself. I could have had it posted with all fancy words and loads of supportive quotes but my friends of AHAR are working class like myself and I would rather explain in my own words, I owe you that much for your loyalty and endless support. For the last few months as you know we have been saving every penny we could, to get enough for the deposit for the bank to get our mortgage secured. It was amazing to raise the 20grand deposit so fast to secure the sale of the farm for six months while we raised the rest for the bank. At first we were told 100grand deposit. As I watched the money rise, my spirits were lifted. I couldnt believe it. But then just a few weeks ago, they raised it to a 120grand without warning. My heart sank, i never cried so much in my life but Jason Morris pulled out all the stops and made it his mission to get us to the next level. Well he did. Jason is one of the most inspirational people ive ever met. He keeps giving his time to AHAR without question. We are so lucky he found us. Team AHAR means the world to me, I love all of you. Georgia is also away so im missing her to bits. She is my rock. Thank god I have Ted to burden or id really be lost. Just last week we were at our 120grand. We then could make this formal, we could ask for the loan. I could hardly breath with fear. But only to find out that we now need to raise another 10grand. In blunt they have offered us the loan but in two halves. A mortgage to cover 60% and I must get a personal loan to cover the rest. In short, I need to raise a further 8,500 euro but ive only one week to do this. There has been another offer on this farm. Only for the owners giving me extra time, id have lost my deposit by now. Thank you Liam Nolan. But a huge thanks goes to Joan OSullivan our accountant, you are one amazing lady. Some might say this is impossible, but loads said that from day one and we proved them wrong. The people that didnt say it are here with me now, reading this post..... my army. So I need you all one last time to help. We cant give up now, we have so many plans and dreams together for such a small fee, 8,500 euro and we are there standing together. Please help in any way you can, even if you have some good ideas? Im really exhausted and feel deflated right now. I need you to give me the energy to keep going. This has worn me down, its like smelling a cake in the oven but you cant get the door open.... yes I think im loosing my mind (as I smile, I dont know what else to do...) xx Suzanne
