Status update: Freshmen orientation and registration completed. 2 years ago when Hunter started talking about going to Troy University, I was not convinced it would be a good fit. I was totally wrong, I believe the two are a great fit. From my first visit to the campus in January until this visit, Ive had confirmation that God has all of this in His hands. Orientation was great for both of us. Hunter felt at home, loved every minute. I learned a lot, met great parents, wonderful students, faculty and staff, reconnected with a college friend and feel in my spirit that all is well. Its a fact that my son is becoming a great young man, but he will forever be my oldest and my youngest ;-). That you to the wonderful teachers at Homewood High School for preparing him for this journey and to Chris Cooper, Terrence A Cobb and Ron Pence for giving him the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of the Patriot Band. I am truly thankful that I am officially a Troy University Trojan mom.... The journey continues!!!
