Status update from Osman Pashayev, a journalist held in Crimea - TopicsExpress

Status update from Osman Pashayev, a journalist held in Crimea recently; translation by William Risch: Thanks to everyone who supported me. Making the news public was the best form of help, because from one until five, there was no chance to tell anyone anything about me. They kept my face to the wall for four hours. The most frightening thing was that, because of me, five more people were also brought in to Aksyonovs self-defense forces hellhole on 26 Kirov Street. These people had decided not to leave me and stay with me instead. They didnt beat me up a lot, just a few times on the legs. They didnt break anything, but tormenting me morally was much worse than tormenting me physically. They stole three tablets, three routers, one computer, and four smartphones.
