WORSHIP SERVICE; THEN, JOIN US IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING WORSHIP FOR OUR BLACK LIVES MATTER YOUTH FORUM! ITS NOT A MOMENT...BUT A MOVEMENT! As we continue to fight for justice in response to the recent grand jury decisions in the Brown and Garner murders, as well as the countless unnecessary murders of many others by law enforcement officers, we believe BLACK LIVES MATTER! What weve done thus far: Hosted a forum where members of the law enforcement and legal community offered and provided tools for our youth, on how to interact and engage with various law enforcement agencies A Call to Action where our youth assisted with the planning of and led our Black Lives Matter unity and protest march We took it to the streets with the Black Lives Matter unity and protest march, where over 1,000 people participated in a sit-in, pray-in, teach-in, preach-in, die-in at the 95th Street Red Line Station. Worship with us on Sunday, December 14th during our 11:00 a.m. worship service, as Pastor Moss preaches on the topic, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER Wear black, in solidarity Invite at least FIVE youth to worship and attend the forum Attend the Black Lives Matter Youth Forum immediately following the 11:00 worship service. We encourage the youth to let their voices be heard! We want to hear from our youth who participated in the march! We are calling for 1,000 youth from across the Chicago area to participate in this forum! Come share your thoughts on: What did YOU learn from the march/protest? As a young person, what changes would you like to see, as a result of the march/protest? How did you feel participating in the protest? SPREAD THE WORD!
