Stay Prepared, Stay Vigilant, Stay Alive. Violent behavior can happen happen anywhere at anytime are you ready? are you mentally ready? are you physically ready? Take a moment and ask yourself, if you were violently assaulted right now at this moment and space in time could you defend yourself? Tell me what you would do if: 1. You are at work and a co-worker goes berserk and starts stabbing your other co-workers? 2. You woke to see an unknown person standing at the foot of your bed? 3. You were just getting in to your vehicle and someone violently walked up and shoved you into your vehicle and put a gun to your head? 4. You open the front door for the pizza guy that you called for a delivery and suddenly find yourself on the floor with the pizza guy smashing in your face? 5. You are parked at a stoplight waiting for the red to turn green and the guy in front of you gets out of his pickup and walks back to your vehicle and smashes in the front window with a crowbar? 6. You have walked up to an ATM and now you are approached by two men with what appears to be a dark object in their hands? 7. What if you are pumping gas and a female comes up to you with a knife and steals your car? Now lets say its a gun and not a knife? What if your child is in the vehicle? Tell me: What would you do if any of these scenarios instantly occured? and What couldve you done to prevent it from happening? There is an infinite amount of what ifs to think about Pay Attention! Maintain Environmental Awareness! Become Situational Aware! Play these scenarios in your head and figure out what you would do if some time if at a restaurant with your family and a masked man with a shotgun enters and begins slaughtering the customers? Dont wait til it happens to plan your defense or escape. Time get people thinking...
