Staying up the Col de Cayron from Gigondas at a beautiful country hotel called Les Florets, run by the Bernard family who also produce Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Rhone wines under the label "Les Garrigues". Dinner here last night was beyond belief! First pic is upon arrival. Needed a beer (local, "Mange Soif", from Drome) before I had the energy to haul a 50# suitcase up to our room. Had run up and down 6 or 7 major flights of stairs with it in the Paris Metro due to misdirection before leaving town. Whipped!
