Staying up till 4.10 in the morning because the question keeping you up is, What does it mean to be a Christian? It is tragically funny when an atheist comedian has more empathy for (and a better understanding of) your desire in the pursuit of nonviolence and love than most of whom you call brothers and sisters. I remember meeting Jesus, the One who set me free from serious destructive problems. I remember having nothing when I met Him: no purpose, no will to live. I was as dry as hot desert day. Meeting Jesus, encountering God, was the best thing that ever happened to me. Giving up my life to follow the example of a humble God was the best decision I ever made. Those who are forgiven much, can love much. That I would be reminded every single day of what I have been forgiven, that my cup may be filled so that I may pour it out over, and over again.
