Steam Hub is setting up a new creative education program to introduce the Geelong Muslim community to primary school students on the Bellarine Peninsula. Recent events in Iraq and Syria has lead to increased anxiety in the general community about the Muslim community. Steam Hub believes education is the key. This informal program will include simple arts activities to engage our students so they can learn a little about the important and positive role the Muslim community plays in this region. Steam Hub stand for Science, Technology, Environment, Arts and Mathematics. The Environment stream at Steam Hub not only focusses on the natural environment but also the social environment.
