(Ek weet nie wie dit is nie...as iemand inligting het asb) Johan van Niekerk South African Police Service (SAPS Official Page) Bloemfontein: On Wednesday 2014-12-31 at about 05:30, a 52-year-old man was walking to the local clinic with his 50-year-old wife and their 18-year-old daughter when they met with two unknown men. The suspects approached the family and one of the suspects took out a firearm and instructed the man and his wife to put their hands up. One of the suspects started to search them and found R10.00 and a cell phone. Shortly thereafter a gunshot went off and the husband fell on the ground and the suspects fled the scene. Kopanong SAPS and Paramedics were summoned to the scene and the 52-year-old victim was certified dead on the scene. A manhunt was launched by the Police members and information was followed that led to arrest of three suspects aged between 19 and 21 years old shortly after the incident. One of the suspects was found with the firearm still tugged on his waist. It is alleged that the suspects are also linked with the murder of a man in Phelindaba (Bloemfontein) earlier this month. They will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court on today
