Stem cell procedure will be done Friday morning. My daughter Vanda will be driving me. Im having it done Friday. I was referred to this organization by an actor friend who had therapy for his neck and back. The procedure takes three hours. One hour to take fat (doc found some) from my buttocks. One hour to process cells. Then one hour to put them back into my body by nebulizer and intravenously. My friend tells me results are not immediate. My doctor tells me the time for the body to respond differs with each individual. This therapy is experimental. My pulmonary doctor is not thrilled, but is relieved that it is listed in clinicaltrials.gov. which makes it somewhat legitimate. No drug companies sponsor the trials, so that is why its so expensive. My doctor is in Beverly Hills. I had a consultation with him yesterday and like his bedside manner and his clear responses to my questions.
