// Step-Up Saturday // This week, wed like to introduce you to a fiercely passionate and spirited brand and biz owner, Gutsy Girl Art, Jewellery + Life by Sharyn Holmes. Sharyn is a multi-passionate creative artist who paints, writes and makes intentional and one of a kind eco sterling silver jewellery. She is also a Usui-Reiki practitioner, aspiring mentor and Desire Map Facilitator. Read more about Sharyns story and journey ... I created Gutsy Girl to honour and unleash the Gutsy Girl in all girls and women. This conception was the beginning of self-acceptance, my personal awakening and healing journey. I am led by my intuition to forge my own multi-passionate path. Gutsy Girl began for 3 reasons: 1. I started asking myself “Why Not Me?” when it came to following and fulfilling my dreams. 2. Gutsy Girl is one way that I can empower & influence my daughter to follow her true path and show her that many choices, gifts and talents are available and exist in us all. 3. To share my truth generously, to see where the road takes me and to inspire and guide others to trust their path enough to discover and follow their passions too. My brand began in late 2012 with my handcrafted intentional jewellery collection, Gutsy Girl. This collection of necklaces, earrings and bracelets harness the powers of Mother Nature’s sun and moon charged gemstones with precious metal and blurs the lines between free spirited bohemian style and modern simplicity. The collection is timeless and can transition the seasons with ease. Each gemstone piece is infused with Reiki. This year a new brand came forward - ARTISTA Creative. Artista Creative is my exploration of handcrafting jewellery intuitively with a focus on the wabi-sabi aesthetic. Wabi-sabi in this context for me means beauty in imperfection. Spirit Nest provides a regular dose of positive thinking to daily life. Its evolution is yet to be uncovered. My intention is to one day have my own sacred space for day retreats and workshops. Gutsy Gatherings and Guidance is my latest project. This is something I have longed to do, but had to wait for the idea to bloom. The Gutsy Gatherings experience begins with in-person workshops Creative Fire: The Workshop of Courage, Connection and Compassion with a focus on creative expression, sacred connection, spiritual practice, healing and defining core desired feelings using The Desire Map. The first workshop will be held on 21-22 March 2015. My pre-launch has involved blogposts, promoting on social media and garnering subscribers to my newsletter. Registration for the in-person Brisbane workshop event is now open. The virtual Desire Map workshop begins in February with registration opening soon.
