The event includes a tour of the lock and dam, access to museum exhibits, and a meal of comfort foods you might have been served along the river in years gone by. Afterwards, Mary Ann Warmack, an experienced Alton tour guide and historian, will entertain us with stories relating the history of the Mississippi River in the Alton area.
