Steph woke up this morning. She said I hate this day. I said why. She said because she hasnt made it to Ritas for ice cream and they will be closing. So I tightened my dad cap and said, do you think a crippled child wakes up and hates the day because of no ice cream, or do you think the wake wishing they could take a shower normally the way you are about to. I said today is your day, it is a blank canvas that you can paint any way youd like. She thought for a minute and said, Dad, youre not mom. Stop talking like her. So I did something goofy to protect my image.
