Stephen Colbert isnt racist, but Josh Zepp sure is an idiot. Comedy Central posted a tweet, which read alone without context was in-arguably racist, under @ColbertReport (Stephen Colberts twitter is @StephenAtHome) in satire of the ludicrous and insensitive gesture by Dan Snyder of creating the Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation. @suey_park trended #CancelColbert in response. Some feel that this is an overreaction created by misunderstanding of satire. However, @suey_park has a full understanding of the situation. Her feelings are that satire does nothing-at-all-what-so-ever to actually curb or discourage racism. The idea being that ironically saying Foundation for Under-Privileged Privileged White Children or Cotton Pickers of America Agricultural Union in order to poke fun at Dan Snyder is not funny, at all, ever, period, and if you think such a thing is funny its because youre probably not being targeted by that particular historical context.
