Stephen Hawking estimates the universe will end in 30 billion years. In his docu-series Into the Universe, he questions whether that will be the end of mankind, or if we will have figured out by then how to stop the universe from ending. I think its incredibly bold of him to even suggest that we will still exist that far into the future at all. I believe mankind will have been wiped out long, long before then. Its saddening when you hear such a smart man say something you feel is so stupid.
