Stepping up on My SOAPBOX this morning. I bought a Ref/freezer from Abe Atephens Home Furniture Co. in 1972. In its Avocado Green Ugliness it served Us well, with NO REPAIRS for over 40 years. Over the last 20 years, I have bought 2 other Ref/Freezers and both have had numerous repairs. 2 1/2 years ago I bought a dishwasher that has now conked out and the repair will cost so much that I have been advised to buy a new one. Whats Going on in America????? Yesterday at wally world I was wanting to purchase arch supports. The cheeper set, Same ole just alike cost a couple of bucks less but were made in Vietnam, I havent forgiven them, so put them back and bought the Dr. Shoals brand and paid a couple of bucks more but it made Me feel better....Dont leave Me yet...This morning when I was preparing to put them in My shoes, I noticed that they were made in CHINA!!!!!! Dr. Shoals made in China!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN AMERICA THESE DAYS??????? pardon My language, I cant help it.
