Steve Greenberg’s weekend preview: Ole Miss must hope QB Bo Wallace steps up vs. Alabama Updated: October 3, 2014 8:23PM Seriously now: How many of you saw Arizona 31, Oregon 24 coming? Put your hand down, please. You’re not fooling anybody. But that huge upset Thursday revealed a fatal flaw in the No. 2-ranked Ducks: an injured, inexperienced, incompetent offensive line. And that’s what’ll continue to hurt potential one-loss teams most in the College Football Playoff race — flaws that are too egregious for the selection committee to overlook. With that in mind, the 10 things I’ll be looking for in Week 6 action Saturday: 1. Mississippi has an excellent defense and a lot of speed and playmaking ability on offense, but is senior quarterback Bo Wallace, in his third year as the starter, capable of taking the Rebels where they’re trying to go? Wallace has 51 touchdowns and 33 interceptions in his career, a ratio that once would’ve been considered terrific but borders on terrible today. If Wallace sprays the ball around against Alabama, the Rebs will be in big trouble. 2. Quarterback is the focus with Alabama, too.
