Steve Jobs had only one book on his iPad when he passed away, Autobiography of a Yogi. At his funeral they passed out copies of the book to attendees. I personally am a fan of this book and I was very excited to screen the documentary Awake over the weekend. Paramhansa Yogananda was a spiritual prodigy indeed. We can all learn much from his peaceful and insightful teachings. On a personal level I have been practicing my meditative skills more than ever this year. In addition to doing it alone and in temple, I enrolled in a three week group course and focused solely on streamlining the art of finding the light within and emptying my mind. I want to help make our world the best possible place and I believe that in order to do that I have to first work on myself and make myself the best person I can be. Im working on it!
