Steven Gerrard - The only footballing supernova I have ever witnessed. A 60 yard pass or a 40 yard kick, no other player creates that anxiety as he does. The only club hes ever played for and the only club Ill always keep supporting. At times, we needed a goal in desperation and you popped up with them. We needed a man to invigorate spirit, and you spurred each man on the field with your fearless tackles and unquestionable hunger. As a kid, you were the Idol I would always enact, get jerseys with your name embossed, try to shoot in FIFA every time I got the ball as Gerrard(PS: I still do :P ), say to myself those words of Andy Gray on your Olympiakos screamer, and revisit your each derby goal celebration. Not many people have influenced a sport as much as youve done. Heres to your loyalty and service as a Captain, thank you Stevie G! 😊🙆👏
