Stewing Hens available!! Stewing Hens are three year-old chickens that can be used to make amazing soups or stocks. If you want to make your own broths and stocks for this Fall and Winter, now is the time to stock up and fill your freezer. These are chickens that have been raised on irrigated pasture and have been fed organic grains their whole lives. We do the slaughter on farm and will have stewing hens available Saturday 8/17 at the Davis Farmers Market and Sunday 8/18 at the Clement Street Market in SF.
