~~~ Still Here and Dreaming ~~~ As I watch the roses bud getting ready for to flower Im feeling very grateful and as high as a tower Iv come a long, long way since I left that horrid school Where they pulled my hair and boxed my ears and slapped me with stick and rule I didnt see much sense in this well that was way back then Just because I couldnt write with pencil or the pen In school I didnt learn a lot really dont know why Preferred looking out the window at the clouds rolling round the sky I wished upon the clouds by day and the stars by night Saw nothing wrong in it always thought it was all right Still here and dreaming nearly every day But when it comes to nighttime I make time to pray. ~~~ Michael Murphy ~~~
