Still devastated about yesterdays news. This time three years ago I got the privilege to chat one on one with Phil Hughes at the pool bar of the hotel we were staying at in Sri Lanka. Took genuine interest in knowing about my own cricket and appreciated the fact we had traveled to the other side of the world to watch the team play. Then a few days later I got to see Phil hit back into form with easily the best test century Ive ever seen from a player. That hour I got to spend with him might have only been a convocation for him, but its a life long memory for me. Amazing cricketer and and even better bloke.
