Sylvan for ACT Prep should be relegated to teachers/interventionists in-house. Truancy mileage could be handled through OCS referrals and actually pressuring the DA to prosecute for neglect (educational is a category). Teacher Leader Cadre is unnecessary. Allow on-site choice: Administrators can allow for leadership development as per 2012 Act 1( where has that been?) - regular teachers are supposed to be nurtured into leadership (like TAP in Ascension). Eliminate Eureka. Keep CCSS for now and allow teachers whereas promised for the implementation of Common Core: Teacher choice of resources ( give us the standards, we choose the resources).
