Still lots of messages I havent got through, thank you all. LOVING our family and our beautiful princess, but here we go, advice needed (sorry all non parents that dont want to see this shit but this seems to be the best way to find out), and as I rarely have chance to get on here and read through everything, just some straight FACTS would be amazing. Lots of forums just filled with opinions eg I reckon it might be..... but I just need facts if you know them (and no old wives tales, lets face it, our little angel proved most of them wrong, thats my girl, haha). So.......bear in mind Ive had a c-section (dont for one second think thats the easy option as afterwards takes ages to recover and function like a normal human, I havent been out yet!) PROBLEM 1 is the swollen feet/legs/hips, I had no idea this was gonna happen, WHY does it happen and what can I do? Difficult to keep moving about when you have a baby attached to your boob for an hour at a time. PROBLEM 2 and this is the biggy causing me pain, tears and is biggest obstacle stopping us going out, that is the boobs. Im breast feeding which at times seems to get easier but then at others Im in such pain. YES I know if shes on properly there should be no problems but its not always that straight forward. I need advice on what to do with nipples straight after feeding. If I put anything on them straight away I then have to peel this off after, this includes the breast pads, they usually pull skin off and sometimes have small amounts of blood in them, this then means theyre sore for next feed (meant to be 8 times a day!) and so the cycle goes. I cant just sit here with my tits out waiting til next feed....HELP. Apart from these problems life couldnt be better (well, sleep would be nice) and Eddie Spangles it has to be said is AMAZING x
