Still need prayers and good thoughts. The current landlord refuses to budge on the settlement offer, thereby, potentially, forcing us to stay here where he can have us evicted and ruin our lives. Our offer is MORE than reasonable, considering the fact that he fired John illegally as John was a partner and LEGALLY, he was supposed to dissolve the partnership and offer John a settlement for his share of the business. He has trumped up 3 different excuses for letting John go. First, he told us he didnt have the money to keep John on. Then he told his lawyer that John was unsafe in the workplace, which was a total lie and he stopped saying it when he realized it was slander and he could be sued for it. Then he started telling everyone that he let John go because I was sick and calling him home so often from work. We DEFY him to prove that John had more than ONE WEEK where he worked less than 40 hours! He has tampered with our mail, slandered Johns name, fired him illegally and so much more. Please send ALL of your very BEST thoughts to us, as we have until Monday at 1 PM to settle this and seal the deal with the new landlord. Pleas to the creator and good thoughts to the universe are all appreciated. Thanks everyone!!
