Still on the Matter: ILLEGAL DEDUCTIONS FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT ALLOCATIONS BY THE OGUN STATE GOVERNOR What a concerted effort which must have been aided by the State House of Assembly and the National Assembly Members of the State Section 162(6) Each State shall maintain a special account to be called State Joint Local Government Account into which shall be paid all allocations to the Local Governmenr Councils of the state from the Federation Account and from the Government of the State Subsection 7 Each state shall pay to the Local Government Councils in its area of jurisdiction such proportion of its total revenue on such terms and in such manner as may be prescribed by the National Assembly Patriotic and informed People of Ogun State, you will agree with me that the persistent deductions from the due allocations to Local Government was inheritted from the immediate past administration under Otunba Gbenga Daniel OGD and now in more proffessional dimenssion under in the present administration of Sen.Ibikunle Amosun SIA as the Local Government which is supposed to be the grassroot government are being incapacitated of discharging their various responsibility due to unreasonable deductions from their due allocations from the Federation Account Moreso,it avails the supposed elected Local Goverment boss but appointees of the General the avenue to cart away with the remnant under the guise the State is working One should not be unaware that the turning down of our agitations on Local Government autonomy is often engineered by vast numbers of satanic agendas by some State Governors which indications revealed Ogun State is may not be out of them Freedom cometh by struggle and since the definition of Democracy is Goverment of the People,by the People and for the People i beseech us to rise up against the corrupt trend by devourers If they fail to voice out now,i have no doubt they will definitely be consumed by the struggle. What an unfortunate situation that the Ogun State House of Assembly in this context has even neglected or traded its responsibilities against the interest of the common masses whereby suppressing the power of the Local Government Chairmen The fear of being suspended by the State Governor has been the begining of wisdom for the Local Government Chairmen to cooperate even with excesses. However i believe freedom cometh by struggle and the masses must be prepared for this freedom from incaptivation and struntic manipulation by the rulling class. The continuos silence of the National Assembly Members may also defined to us they are working together to deprive the Local Governement its rights which is condemnable and challengeable.Let those who have ears hear Die for something or Live for Nothing
