Still watching The Godfather 2 and feel like I must post my top 5 favorite sequels of all time. 5. Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan - Better than the original Star Trek movie, it starred Ricardo Montalban (of Fantasy Island fame) as Captain James T. Kirks old enemy, Khan. It was a good story, had better effects than the original and was an emotional roller coaster ending with the death of Mr. Spock. *Tears* 4. Aliens - This movie had lots more action than the original and featured the alien queen. The acting was good earning Sigourney Weaver an academy award nomination (one of seven that the movie earned). My favorite role was played by Bill Paxton, though. 3. The Dark Knight - This movie takes us into the dark side of the human psyche. The Joker is played by Heath Ledger who did a wonderful job and earned him a posthumous academy award. This was the greatest superhero movie ever made. 2. Star Wars (Episode V): The Empire Strikes Back - This movie could do NOTHING wrong. Great acting, great directing, great story. There was so many emotional moments in the movie that I STILL get a lump in my throat and weep a little at the end. 1. The Godfather 2 - This movie not only follows the life of Michael Corleone after the events of The Godfather but also the story of how Vito Andolini (Vito Corleone) came to America and became the Godfather. This movie was a all around masterpiece and shows Michael agonizing over tough decisions.
