Stitch has gotten overly protective of me; not around other people, but over the strangest things. Looks like Ill have to go to a podiatrist to get my toenails trimmed because every time I try to do them she seems to think the clippers are going to hurt me and tries to take them from me. The first time she saw me use my back scratcher on my back she kept trying to knock it out of my hand...until, that is, I showed her it was harmless by scratching her back with it. And she still brings my slippers to the back door for when I get home from delivering papers. She knows if I have my slippers on I wont be going anywhere without her. And she is getting better on a leash...at least when it is dark outside and not so many distractions. Stitch also found out the play ball that makes a squeaking noise when compressed isnt so frightening afterall. Now she races though the house with it in her mouth making it squeak with just about every step. However, her chicken hasnt been tossed aside. She alternates between playing with the two.
