Stoke, Cardiff, Swansea Battle For Osaze -West Brom Confirm Official Offers A stronger possibility of Peter Osaze Odemwingie hooking a summer transfer before the window closes next Monday has emerged for the outgoing West Bromwich Albion of England striker, as the English Premier League club have acknowledge receiving formal bids for his signature from Stoke City, Cardiff City and Swansea City. While Stoke and Cardiff have both tabled offers of about £2 million each for Osaze, Swansea appear prepared to pay £1.8million to acquire the mulatto star, who has previously played for Insurance of Benin City, La Louviere of Belgium, Lille Metropole of France and Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia. The latest doffers for Osaze’s signature come in the wake of WBA’s earlier rejection of a 850,000 pounds bid from Al Nasr of United Arab Emirates as well as £1.5million from Crystal Palace for the 32-year-old out-of-favour Super Eagles attacker. However, Birmingham Mail reports that these latest offers could pave the way for the exit of Osaze, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at The Hawthorns, was sent to train with The Baggies’ reserves and has not been considered for selection by WBA manager, Steve Clarke since the start of this season. Osaze has been sidelined since his fall-out with the club last season - which started with his failed move to Queens Park Rangers and continued with a series of Twitter spats by the player, in th3ew wake of which the Albion top bras have stated that there is no way back for him. Nonetheless, Osaze now appears closer to the end of his Albion nightmare, as Cardiff City boss, Malky Mackay is making a new move for the striker and The Daily Mail says the manager is determined to bring in two wingers, with the Nigerian star one of those on his list. Osaze growing increasingly frustrated at The Baggies and, while the club’s echelon are not prepared to let him go on the cheap, they are mindful that his age and situation will drive his price down, especially as he has less than 12 months left on his current contract with Albion.
