Stood on top of the world today with Cindy Jacobs. Started at the bottom of Exit Glacier and worked all the way to the top where glaciers are born Harding Ice Field. The hike 0.8, to the edge of Exit Glacier, then up in elevation 5, 347 ft, 4.2 miles in and out of very strenuous switchbacks and rugged terrain. Took 9 hrs total and we are both sore from the balls of our feet to our buttholes and beyond. Worth every ounce of sweat, swearing, & sore muscles for this view. The last is a bonus pic of an American Bald Eagle as we were leaving and very last is the view coming back into Anchorage at Turnagen Arm. Life is good! God is good every day in every way.
