Stop sitting there watching people do everything you desire to do. Stop telling yourself you are not good enough for your own dreams. Stop letting your fears keep you paralyzed in your book of life. You owe it to yourself to try. To give yourself a chance to lay those negative voices to rest in your head. You deserve the freedom to try. Will you take it? Will you choose to get up and begin doing the work required for dreams to be more than intangible longings? Time is passing you by as you sit there refusing to let yourself try. I don’t care if you are a beginner. I don’t care if you make a million mistakes along the way. I don’t care if you make a complete mess of it all. I care that you try. That you take a step forward and make the choice to be vulnerable, open, and patient with the work before you. I care that you decide that your life matters so much that you have to give it your all. Even when you have no idea what or how much you have to give. I care that you chase your dreams and give them the nourishment they need to grow. I care that you were brave enough to have made mistakes. I don’t want you to be that person who wakes up years from now and wonders what it means to be alive. To be passionate about something. To feel excitement in your life. To have joy in your story. I don’t want that to be you. So I am asking… no I am begging you to please get up and choose yourself. Choose your life and just try. Try through the storms. Try through the frustrations. Try through the mistakes. Try through the haters. Try through the fears. Try through the confusion. Try through the relapses. Try through the sadness. Try through the hopelessness. Try through every obstacle this world puts in your way. I believe that through trying. Through making the effort for more than existence you will find the answers, hope, peace, and love you are aching for. You will find your center. Your calm. Your way. I know it is hard to believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel you are in but sweetheart there is a light. There is a brightness and a warmth waiting to envelop you. I believe as you try you will be able to see that it has always been there. It begins and ends within you. Shine. Bright and true. Shine. Try. Try. Try. You are alive today. Live your life!
